Who is your favorite author and why?

What is your favorite book or series by them?

My all time favorite author is Chuck Palahniuk who you may or may not have heard of but he is the author of the infamous Fight Club which you've probably read, seen, or heard about at the very least.

Or maybe you haven't.

My favorite book by him is hard to say but Fight Club, Invisible Monster, and Haunted are all very very good like life changing and I highly highly recommend you check and see if your local library carries any of these and I'm quite confident they carry at least Fight Club as it is a classic.

Rick Riordan ( all of his Series)
Orson Scott Card (everything by him)
Gergory Maguire ( The Wicked series)
Laini Taylor (The Daughter of Smoke and Bones Trilogy)
Anne McCaffrey ( Dragonriders of Pern Series)
J.R.R. Tolkien ( The hobbit and Lord of the Rings)
Nancy Farmer ( The House of the Scorpion and sequel)
Cinda Williams Chima ( Seven Realms Series)
Christopher Paolini ( Inheritance Cycle)

There are many more, I just can't think of them and I can't really pinpoint a favorite they each have their own reason on why I enjoy them.

I can't choose favorites due to the fact that I feel that I'd be limiting myself.
I'm into mainly fiction, but I read just about any book that sparks my interest. That's why I'm not allowed to go to Barnes Noble. The prices are outrageous and my need for books is endless.

Over the past year I've read at least 200 books [give or take a few]

13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher
The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey (literally amazing)
Asylum by Madeline Roux
Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys (It is about the Holocaust, but it is really good)

These are just a few I have read and liked
